The series Heartland, by Lauren Brooke is about a young
girl, and her life of caring for the horses sent to be healed at Heartland.
Since Amy Fleming was a little
girl, she had lived with her mother who helper horses learn to trust and get over their fears.
But all that changed when,
a year ago, Amy’s mother died in a crash and now Amy has to cope without her.
Amy is fifteen years old and lives at Heartland with her sister Lou and her grandfather Jack Bartlet, who along
with Ty the stable hand and now Amy’s boyfriend, Amy continues her mothers work teaching horses to trust again.
